Good day all, I drive a 2012 Honda Civic with 78,000 miles. Recently the car feels as if it's not shifting into overdrive or the final gear. My ndicator lights for gas consumption still indicate green for best consumption. It drives at 3000rpm at 65-70 miles per hour.

I'm curious if anyone has any insight on what I'm seen on this car.

1.8L engine? Manual or auto transmission? Trim level on the chassis? Surely you cannot expect answers to your questions without pertinent details such as these added into the equation.

The engine sounds as if riding on 4th gear when it should be in 5th.
