My wife is having some issues with her 2004 Accord EX. The ABS, Triangle, TCS Lights Stay On and won't turn off. The maintenance required light blinks when the car is started but then it turns off. This all started after it had snowed recently and I put chains on her tires. She said that she still had then on the car and drove after the snow melted for a few miles. Her passenger side front fender was pushed out a bit and I think the culprit was a chain link that was probably flapping around inside the fender well. My basic troubleshooting has eliminated a couple of things but I am still not even close to figuring this out. All fuses are good inside the car and under the hood. The master cylinder is full of brake fluid and I do not see any brake fluid leaks. The car drives and stops fine. I haven't noticed any difference with the lights being on. The neutral safety switch is working as it should. It won't shift unless the key is in and the brakes are being pressed. I have an Autel CAN OBD2 Scan tool but get no codes when I scan. If anyone knows what the problem could be please let me know.
Not sure of the model number of your scanner, it might not read ABS codes. That is where I would start.....humm, did that chain happen to take out the abs sensor or the wires to it
I figured out the problem. Loose chain link cut the left-front wheel sensor wires. I don't want to replace the senor, I think I will just repair the wires.
