Just wondering what you guys are getting for fuel Mileage out of a bone stock Automatic d16z6? Even on the freeway i'm not getting more than 280 miles / 450 kms to a tank.
Things i've recently changed: Spark plugs,distributor,O2 sensor,Oil Change,cleaned the throttle body / IACV and new K+N air filter. Any suggestions are appreciated, Matt.

 

That sounds about right.

I am lucky to get close to 500 km per tank on a manual d16z6. When I was on my stock d15B7 manual I would get about 525 per tank.

The auto should be a touch worse than the manual. I typically get between 450-485 kms per tank. I do like to put her into vtec though.... Still best mileage since I swapped in the coupe SI D16Z6 and gearbox is just barely over 30 MPG (maybe 31.xx) where before my average was 33 mpg with a best of 38 MPG.

I'm waiting for summer to come round now that my lead foot isn't as heavy as when it was new to me. Fuel economy always gets worse with the cold air but the power goes up.

 

Ya I hear you with the cold weather, its been -5 to -15 the last two weeks which can't help. Thanks for your insight.
