Default manual to auto 2001 Acrura EL

Does the manual and automatic transmision fit on the same D172A engine?
if i purchase a new motor from an automatic, will the manual transmission fit ?

Hey,

most people on forum wont know about the 2001 acura el . Might be worth mentioning its a 2001 honda civic DX in the states.

And yes, the transmission ( manual/auto) will either fit on the engine.

Ok wat if i have a manualstock civic obd1 1995 d15b7 and have a d15b7 engine (automatic) engine to drop in wat do i need to do to make this happen ...

Put the clutch on.
But i notice their is a different sensor by the oil pressure sensor on the automatic engine the my original engine didnt have
( knock sensor ) possibly not sure

Anything else will i need to alter to make this swap easy as possible
