Not reaching opp temp? Wrong thermostat??
I have a 95 civic lx
Automatic.
Temp gauge says it's not reaching opp temp.
Barley over the bottom line.
Changed the thermostat already.
Along with the thermostate fan switch.
The coolant temp sensor as well.
I flushed it.
Coolant tank had a crack, I changed that.
Changed the relay (fan works)
Even fuses.
My only guess is that the thermostat I put in opens at 170,
so should I get one that opens at 180 or 192?
Or could it just be a bad gauge?
Any feedback would be nice thank you.

get a Stant 180 thermostat.
just out of curiosity though, does this happen even after driving it? or only when letting it idle to warm up? do the fans kick on while idling? is the cooling system building pressure? is the upper rad hose getting super hot to where you can barely touch it without burning yourself, or is it only getting mildly hot to where you can hold the hose for several seconds with no issues?
