ok does anyone have any info on dying your carpets a different color opposed to replacing them? also about dying cloth seats? really any insight would be appreciated.

nor does it match my throw pillows and the collection of beanie babies that i sport on my dash and back seat.

 

uhh, unless you have white carpet, you're not going to be able to "dye" it. but if you mean painting the carpet, i bet it'd look like ****. just go get new carpet, it's only like 100-150

 

i painted the carpet in my 94 teg. i put in gsr seat (black) but the carpet what grey. i went to pep-boyz and got some uphostry (spell??) paint. They come in a spray can and is easy to apply. I have it since july and no signs of fading. make sure you put several coats on it.

 

was the stuff expensive? yeah thats exactly the predicament i'm in because i want to put some different seats in but they aren't going to match anything.

 

it cost about $5 a can. I used about 2 1/2 can but i also painted my floor mats. Make sure you clean the carpet real good before doing it.
