Okay so I just did a brake job on my 01 dc4 integra I did drilled and slotted rotors with new ceramic brake pads. Bleed brakes and did it as per the integra mateinance manual problem I'm having is that my pedal is hard when the car is off I turn it on and then the pedal just sinks to the floor but the weird thing my ebrake works but my front brakes loose pressure I have bleed the brakes out 5 times already and still no pedal. I did notice that the boot on the caliper on the front passenger side had a nasty looking gash on it could that be causing the issue and also I hear a whoosh or air sound by the abs unit when I press the brake pedal. Keep in mind brakes were working perfectly fine before I did the brake job only reason I did them was because the rears needed to be done and the fronts were almost out as well so I decided to do both front and back. Please I need help with this asap.

Just redid it and nothing also my abs light came on as I was bleeding the brakes again also my ebrake works great the rear brakes grab really good and don't move at all with the ebrake but my front ones don't grab at all with the pedal it just sinks. could it be that the front ones need to be done again?

turned out to be bad brake booster and MC the car does have 199,985 miles lol just replaced both but still have a little bit of a spongy pedal. I'm going to do a hot bleed which is drive the car for a bit and then bleed them again after.
If you've replaced everything/done everything/bled everything, etc, and is solid when you pump it up with engine off, "squishy" when engine running, there's nothing you can do but wait for the pads to break-in. It'll take about 500 km or 300 miles. You'll get a "squishy" feeling because the pads arent seated onto the rotors yet, so brake gently for the meanwhile and give yourself more stopping distance
