Can't put car into gear
i have a 94 civic d15b7, the car can't go into any gear unless I turn it off put it in first then it'll jump and move forward, then the gears will work and car will drive if I force the gears, the clutch pedal is to soft and is sitting close to the floor board, we changed the master cylinder but that didn't help, we changed the slave cylinder but that still didn't work also bled the clutch but still the same..what could be the problem?
Sometimes a clutch disc itself will fail. Pieces of the spring retainers on the disc can break off and then get lodged between the disc and the flywheel or pressure plate.
When that happens, you would get the symptoms you describe. The pedal itself might feel kinda spongy too. The problem may also be somewhat intermittant depending on how the broken piece is lodged.
If you've already replaced the master and slave cylinder, that would be my guess as to what is happening.
Edit: it could still be a hydraulic problem now that I think about it, but if you've visually verified that the slave cylinder is like pushing out when the pedal is down, it's most likely the clutch...

This is almost definitely the problem.
Let us know what it was when you figure it out OP, brand of clutch would be helpful too.
