Default Service B23

Hello all. I am the proud new owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline. It's great.

It has 167,000 miles on it, and the only major repair has been a rebuilt transmission.

I have a little wrench light up when I start the car now, and it says "SERVICE B23 DUE SOON"

I don't own the owners manual and I am not sure what this mean.

Any help is welcome. Thank you.

B is oil and filter change
2 is air and pollen filter replacement
3 is transmission fluid drain and fill (and transfer case fluid on 4WD equipped vehicles)

Thank you so much.

I've actually just had those things done. How do I reset the warning?

Any idea why the tranny rebuild was done? I wonder if the tranny fitting to the heat exchanger in the OEM radiator failed allowing coolant to enter the tranny. Google strawberry milkshake of death and you will find a ton of hits on this issue which affects multiple manufacturers and models including Honda/Acura. I have taken the position of replacing the radiator at each TB/WP service as a precaution.

That being said, my 2008 RL tranny was replaced under warranty due to a top gear whine from new. I've had no issues since the replacement and am currently at 102k miles.
