Just bought a 92 with 335k
Hello All, so its a while since ive been in the modding/maintaining/repairing the car game (always had a Honda/Acura thought!), and 92 Acura Integra fell into my lap for $300. I was into Accords, but never integras/civics, so I dont know much about this chassis.
Now, obviously with this car having 335k there are a few things that need to be replaced and I need some help with part sourcing for a good price. So I have a few questions
1. Id like to buy new bushings, tie rods and ball joints. Id like to stick to OEM style rubber. Are there any tried and true aftermarket part sources? Im comfortable with ebay parts only if there are a few others who have installed their parts and driven on them for a while. I used to stick to OEM, but paying $50/tie rod and $25/bushing will add up quick on a $300 investment, lol.
2. Also, what are the suspension parts interchangability on these cars? Back in the day I was into Accords and we'd pull parts from Prelude's and Acura CL's. Anything similar here?
3. Where can I get Trunk hatch hydraulic dampers? All the ones at the Junkyards are taken and people on CL are asking a grip for them. Is there an active online source for people selling their cars/parts/part outs?
Thanks in Advance.

just hit 348k so i've been there.
energy suspension bushing sets from rock auto are pretty cheap tho
rubber is cheaper
but theyre an easy install once you burn/drill/hacksaw out the old ones.
if your engine mounts are original theyre likely toast as well.
i just filled mine with window weld for a cheap as hell fix, worked great.
you'll need 2 tubes:

car-part is great for finding cheap junkyard parts since prices are all over the place.
