Im new to the car world I have always been a v8 truck guy. I bought an 89 4 door 5 speed honda civic with the 1.5 i want to make it faster weather it be via motor swap or as simple as swapping out the head and pistons please anu help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Engine swap the way to go I think a 1,8L is the easiest, [LS or GS-R] along with at least a GS-R 5 speed transmission, bump that up to a Type R engine and transmission and your going places. 94.
I have a 94 RS, [Integra] with a GS-R 5 speed and Phantom Grip LSD ad a 75 shot ZEX system, that I autocross and DD in the summer lots of fun
