Default Which knuckle/hub assembly do I need?

My buddy and I bought a 97 EX coupe shell as a project. We're currently working on the suspension, and we've ran into a problem. We bought new front wheel bearings for it, and upon pressing the bearings in, we've found out that we have 2 different knuckle/hub assemblies, only one of which the wheel bearings fit.

We bought the bearings from Rock Auto. They are WJB wheel bearings. The part number is WB510015. According to Rock Auto, this bearing should fit a non ABS CX, DX, EX, HX and LX model.

As I've stated above, only one of the two bearings fit one of our two knuckles. The knuckle that the bearing DID fit has a number stamped on it that reads HM-4-SOL-13. The knuckle that the bearing DOES NOT fit has a number stamped on it that reads SO-R-14N.

I'm not quite worried about the knuckle that the bearings do not fit. I'd like to know what knuckle we have that the bearings DO fit so that we can find us another one so that not only do we have 2 of the same knuckles, but so that we have knuckles that our bearings will be compatible with.

So I suppose the question that we're looking for an answer to is: What model Honda has a knuckle number of HM-4-SOL-13?

Thanks in advance!

- DJ

the numbers at the end are the diameter of wheel needed to clear. the one that ends in "14" is from an ex model, "13" is from a dx/cx/lx

Ok, so basically Rock Auto's information was incorrect on their website then? And what you're saying is that I would just need a knuckle from a DX, CX or LX, correct?

ex bearing: 44300-S5A-008
lx dx cx bearing: 44300-S04-008

yes, rockauto was wrong. bigger issue here is you have different sized front brakes. one side uses a different caliper, pad, and rotor. will make maintenance suck, as well as braking interesting.

As far as calipers go, I have a set of front calipers off of one of my EG hatches, and I'd assume they'd be compatible with the correct knuckles for the EK. If not, then I find the correct caliper needed.

Well, looks like I'm in the market for a knuckle anyways!

Or if the brakes are the same size, it's possible you have a 92-00 Ex or DC Integra knuckle on there.
