Wheel rubbing fender/frame wall question
so I picked up a 97 civic coupe ex for a day to day beater car, the car was already lowered when I received it. It is lowered in shocks/springs unsure of the brand because I just picked up the car. From the looks of it the tires are way to big for this ride height 195/70/14. The tire barley rubs the outer fender/lip and splash guard, my problem is the rim/wheel rubs the inner wheel well frame wall and I can hear metal on metal when I try to make a turn, I'll post pictures once I leave work

Getting those balloons off of there will fix a lot of problems. Get the right size tires, stock is 185/65r14. Specifically you want to find a tire with ~23.1" diameter. Beyond that, the car is pretty low and there will always be a little bit of an issue at extreme steering angles.
