This short block is from the original engine from my 2001 Integra Type R, with 77,000 miles on it. WARNING, it is using a lot of oil. Last year it was starting to use oil (a quart every 700 street miles) so I decided to get it rebuilt. First, it was rebuilt with the cylinders being honed and using new pistons, valves, rings, oil pump, etc., but after the rebuild it was using even more oil (a quart every 200 miles). It was then rebuilt again; we noticed that the valve stems were loose in the valve guides, so we replaced the valve guides with new. But even after that rebuild, it was still using a quart every 200 miles. So I decided to buy a new short block for my ITR, and I am selling the old one, with full disclosure that it is using this much oil.
I am selling this short block for $900 firm (no haggling, please). You can pay cash upon pickup, or you can pay by check if I can allow two weeks for the check to clear. I'll also take Paypal. I'll give preference to anyone willing to pick it up in the Chicago area. I can also ship it and the buyer will pay the shipping costs in addition to these prices.

They come with 205/50R15 Kumho Ecsta SPT that have plenty of thread available and I'd say the rims, themselves, are a 7/10 with some imperfections as they were previously redone.
