Default 94+ integra trailing arm VS CRX trailing arm

Hi guys,

This has been bugging me for a bit. I have found various posts from people stating that the 94+ integra trailing arms and the CRX trailing arms are different. They are both options that guys will use to upgrade their drums to rear disks.

I finally measured the trailing arms. I can confirm that they are indeed slightly different.

I measured the offset of the lower bolt, that connects to the LCA. I used a square, and measured the flat, mating face of the wheel, to the lower bolt. The measurement is the exact same.

The upper bolt for the UCA is offset differently by about a half inch... I think this is where the different track width is coming from.

I've been searching for as much info on this as I can.

I don't understand: If the offset of the LCA bolt and the hub face is the same between the trailing arms, wouldn't the offsetup up top be made up for by using an adjustable upper control arm?

Statically yes, but it changes the geometry/kinematics and therefore affects the handling of the car. Hard to say how. I'd be interested to see what the differences are.

DA, DC, and SI trailing arms all have different track widths by about 2mm or so, it's barely worth mentioning.
