Good Afternoon, I'm researching which engines are workable inside the 4 cylinder 2010 honda accord. I have an automatic and thinking about the switch to a manual. I am looking into an H22A engine. Is there any engine suggestions that can keep me with a 4 cylinder.

 

Newer engines rotate the opposite way of the h22a so it's really not going to work in that car.

 

If all you are looking for is a manual swap, you should probably look into just doing that.You are not going to find a more capable 4 cylinder than the one that is already in your Accord. If you want more power build and boost your K24!

In my opinion your best bet would be to sell or trade your automatic Accord for one that already has a manual transmission and go from there.

 

And perhaps go to a V6 as well.
