Default Best oil supply for R18, pressure sender, or??

Where is the best place to get oil supply for a turbo on an R18, to TEE off of the oil pressure sending unit or?

On my S2000 I used the oil pressure sensor. Took forever to find the right fittings though, but worked well once it was done.

If you're using an AEM EMS you can also just use the VTEC pressure switch, as it's not used the by AEM.

I had thought about the VTEC oil switch port, but I was not sure if it would be a constant source of pressurized oil.

I am not using an AEM, but a similiar system made by SDSEFI. Since the VTEC on a R18 is only engaged during low load to obtain economy I have no interest in using the VTEC so this port may be a good choice. Other than the Pressure sender port would make plumbing to the turbo quite a bit cleaner.

Sounds like the pressure sending unit on your S2000 is not 1/8NPT? I have not checked mine....that is interesting. What is yours? What did you end up doing?
