Icon2 Brake fluid - Clutch Fluid

Working on 2006 Honda Civic Si. It was stolen, motor was dropped, already put a new motor in, both brakes and clutch line were cut. Installed new lines from vehicle that was hit in back. Need to bleed and refill. What it is the best way to do this? Is brake fluid the same thing as clutch fluid? If so, what is the best product to use in terms of long lasting, and performance?

Use Honda brake fluid and yes they are the same. Have someone press the clutch down and hold it. Crack open bleeder. Close bleeder. Tell them to pull the pedal all the way back. Repeat as needed while always being sure to keep the reservoir atleast half full.

The type of fluid is on top of the clutch cap. Probably dot3 or dot4.

You fill the fluid in the master, and bleed from the slave.
