Default 92-95 eg rack and pinion non power swaps

morning everyone! Hope everyone here had an excellent thanksgiving. I know I did. As a matter of fact I had such a good time I broke my Jeep and it leaves me to daily my hatch till I sort out the issue lol two of my biggest concern are the steering me no heat lol I have a good mount of play in my steering and I figure it needs to be replaced. I hear the only swaps are from non power to power dc2 and I don't want to go through the hassle of installing power steering lines and all that. I've heard from local guys here that the sealed Ef racks work wonders but I'm just not convinced. I'm trying to shorten the ratios on the steering while I'm going through the process of replacing it but with which rack is my question? Any suggestions?

You can replace just the rack and pinion with a Quaife kit.

Or you could use a powered 94-01 integra rack they have a even quicker steering ratio. All you need to do is the loop the power lines, and you'll need a integra U joint, and D bracket.

The play in your rack might just need an adjustment. This won't help speed up your rack but it might be the easiest fix for your loose rack. A replacement might not be necessary accept for your desire to speed up the rack.

I will definitely check this out. If it turns out to not need replacing I'll probably pick this up and leave it non power. Thanks for the reply! Much appreciated

Just as an FYI the power steering lines are so simple on those cars it's really not a big deal to add them in. You will need to swap the subframe though.

Lol of course the steering rack has nothing to do with your engine. Get one from a junkyard they're pretty cheap.
