welp, i am doing the ecu pinning process for dpfi to mpfi conversion and i found this red/white pin on the b12 and put my c2 wire in it's place
is this red/white pin crucial, could find it in the engine bay harness

I can confirm I have this wire in my 1990 DX hatch M/T. I remember reading somewhere that if that wire is present you just de-pin and let it hang.
