the DX has a plug with 5 cables and another one with 2
the SI one has one plug with 7 and another with 2
in other words, the DX doesnt have a sensor the Si do.,..

the dx distributor doesnt have the crank sensor inside, because DPFI dont need to time the injectors to engine timing

ok thx it was just my inderstanding that all you needed was the si plug.
WE have now got an Si one anyhow.
There is also one yellow wire coming out of the main harness went to one of the DPFI injectors. do i just leave it not connected to anything.
and there is one black wire with yellow strip from EACV do i just splice this into the main harnesse black wire with ellow stripe?
