Which Is Better 4-2-1 or 4-1
Generally:
4-2-1: Overall power gains across the power band, more low end torque, more high end hp
4-1: You will lose low end torque, but will get more high end hp

do a search.
On a GSR, youll want the increase in top end..thus I would have to recommend a 4 to 1, preferably a jdm dc4 to 1 unless you feel like blowing a ridiculous amount of money on a header.

this is a huge argument that everyone getz in on. if you plan on making your car into a bat out of hell that runs in a straight line, then go 4-1
If you are a daily driver and love a fast responisve car that will hug turn and have a better throttleresponse then go for the Comptech 4-2-1 Type r or gsr header, the only difference between the type r and the comptech is the collector size. the type r is 2.5 and the gsr is 2.25.

For an LS, get a Comptech 4-2-1 header. Its what I got and I like it. ACTUALLY, I would recommend getting a turbo manifold and all that whatnot, but hey...
