Trying to learn as much as I can
Hey guys my name is Kwane and I live in Las Vegas I made an account to learn as much as I possibly can about my Honda Accord ex 1992 it's the second car i bought before I graduated high school and tbh I love that car and everything about it but sadly it's parked because Im sure I blew a head gasket (car was over heating im pretty sure it was something to do with the water pump) but one of my goals in life is to fix it back up better than ever with my own two hands I just need some guidance from you more experienced guys I have so many questions but just to clarify the first qestion I'm going to ask is could/should i fix this engine my self and keep adding mods or should I get ready to do a swap which has its own cluster of questions lol any help would be appreciated
Welcome, and by browsing the Accord subforum, you should be able to find lots of information and ideas. If the car is in good shape and worth it to you, it is worth either rebuilding or swapping an engine in.
If you plan to rebuild yourself, make sure you have more time and space than you think you need, and the ability to learn as you go along. A swap is usually a faster way to get the car up and running again, and in that car, may be a good opportunity to do some thing like an H22 swap, which would really change the car's character compared to small mods, but it takes some time, skill, and money.
