don't, easy as that. you obviously don't know anything about turbos, and until u do, don't do anything with them to your car unless u feel like destroying your block.

u seriously need to do some research.

but if youre in a hurry to get turbo... get a DRAG or REVHARD kit and have a qualified mechanic install it for you. at the same time youre waiting for the turbo kit to arrive, you can learn how things work.

even if he reads up in the force induction forum.. he still wont know what they are talkin about. if he asks questions.. he'll get picked on. hahaha best thing to do is to research things first.. then ask questions in the forums.

This is a major upgrade... If you have the money to do it right, but do not understand the principle of it, then fine. Take your teg to your local tuning shop, slap down about $4500 and drive back out a few days later.
Me personally, I would never do this. You should really understand everything that you do to your teg. As all posts have indicated, research the snot out of this before you make a decision... How else would you know that a kit without an intercooler is a bad idea?

Good luck in your quest... take your time, research everything!

yes..research is key. even if you don't install it yourself( which i recommend against for a newcomer into forced induction), you should know how to piece the kit together, know how it works, and know what every single component in the kit is responsible for. I failed to do so, and ended up thrashing 2 pistons the same night i put the turbo kit on. you dont want to get in that mess, trust me. ive had enough downtime for 10 people combined. There is a really good book on forced induction by corkey bell, i forgot the name however off the top of my head. Many people have run drag 3 kits on stock gsr without problems, but I personally know several people (including those who've had their kits installed by a very reputable tuner) who fried their piston rings within several months. Know the consequences, know how it works, and then make your decision.

i say go to your local import performance shop and see what they do for you. i think the greddy kit is great for daily driving and it bolts on real nicely.
