Top Fuel parts
Anyone know of a shop in or around SoCal that can get Top Fuel parts. I have spoken to PannAuto and Group5/AEBS and they can't, although Group5/AEBS said that sometimes someone will go to Japan for what ever reason and can get stuff while they are there, but it is extremly difficult to time that kind of thing. I would like to get one of their Tubo setups. I know they have 2-3 kits, I think one of them puts down around 120 hp on a reletivley stock motor. Anybody know? Thanks
i remember reading some superstreets where this shop called v-spec performance had sick ek's with b18c5's or b16b's with top fuel turbo kits. I dont know the phone # but i think they were located in baldwin park, california

Right now I am just trying to find out if it attainable and the price. Depending on the price, will depend on when I purchase. According to their online catalog it is the "Wast Gate Type Bolt on Turbo Kit". Most info is in Japanese, But they did say Max HP is 360! I'll scan a pic of it in a couple hours.

Dude...that's 360ps net -potentially...(meaning at the flywheel)
second...that kit is not complete...no IC or the piping, no fuel solution. If you get the whole top fuel kit, it'll wind costing you about $15,000 (not kidding)...that's why no-one here hat one....

Have you thaught about a Blitz Kit for the B series? I dont know what they come with as far as Intercooler, fuel, etc etc. But they use an external wastegate and a KKK turbo with a tubular manifold-looks nice. But im sure it cost at least 3000.
I personally would not get anything from Top Fuel....Waaaaay overpriced and over-rated! Their low-end kits are basically rebadged HKS kits.... some of the components in their high-end packages can be foundin Drag, rev hard and F-MAX. The compressor in the F-MAX kit is identical to their mid-high end kit and the compressor ALONE cost $3000!!!
I would consider getting somethind in the states and save F loads of money!! The only advantage to getting the F-MAX is their support and mechanics....but that won't do much good unless you live in Japan...

The Top Fuel turbo kit my friend has in stock came with a HKS ball-bearing turbo which retails at $1800-1900. Hks turbo's arent cheap, especially any ball-bearing turbo. Your paying for the quality.
wrong the top fuel turbo kits dont have identical parts as the drag fmax or rev hard, or similar parts.there are 3 kits that they have from least expensive to most expensive the turbo's are
HKS 2530 with actuator(internal wastegate)can keep AC with this set up
Blitz K26 turbo with blitz wastegate(external)cant keep AC
Blitz K3T turbo with blitz wastegate(external)cant keep AC
all top fuel turbo kits dont come with no intercoolers and no piping unless you got the single cam turbo kit then it will come with piping.
no fuel management in any of there kits.
Vspec was the us distributor for them but is now closed down b/c they are top fuel usa now.

Vspec no longer exist. the ek you are talking about is Hugh Le's. he ran a b20-vtec turbo. his car is currently down, but should be back to the track by next year.

Take a look at these photos I took of the Top Fuel display...this was only some of many kits the put together.
As you can see they only come with the bare minimum (turbine, ex. manifold, injector controller or ECU piggy back, optional head gasket) all STARTING at $3000.
This is my turbo that came with my FMAX....look familar?@Basically the same turbo with a slightly different exhaust housing and flange to fit their manifold and downpipe.
Top fuel@does sell fuel solutions in the form of ECU piggy backs...they range from HKS F-CONS to something more elaborate. They also sell intercooler kits as well which are expensive as ****! The most expensive kit comes with the KKK turbo which is good for about 500whp...BUT by the time you have finished installing it, you would have spent close to $15-20K! Not worth it...stay domestic, and just buy some of their really good components...not the whole kit..
this is their website....gee I should be called the Top Fuel guru
