Default Factory Subwoofer 2nd Gen CRV

I've had a 08 Element and love the factory subwoofer.

Just got a 06 CRV and wish it had a subwoofer. I don't want a fancy aftermarket unit that will take up space...something concealed and OEM and easy to hookup.

Found this (ebay) HONDA OEM Kelton SUBWOOFER 2002 2003 2004 CRV CR-V, 2002 ODYSSEY 08A39-EP7-100 | eBay

I never saw this option in the catalogue back in the day...nor do I have a clue where it actually goes.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

It bolts up under the drivers seat. The link I posted has the honda part list and install procedures. I have it on my 05 crv. Its nice, but i wouldnt call it "cabin filling bass" . I mostly feel the bass/vibrations while sitting in the seat. I'm not too sure id hear or feel it while sitting in the back. My GF says she does feel some of the bass while shes in the passenger seat.
In the link scroll down to subwoofer kit

I looked up the element subwoofer, and it looks like it goes in the lower front dash. I've never heard one, so i dont know if it compares.

I dont hate mine, but I though it would have added more bass to my music, instead of a "boomy/vibration" under my seat.
Theres other reviews on it if you google "2006 crv subwoofer"

Yes, the element subwoofer is epic. One of the best I've heard in a factory vehicle. I think the one reason of this is that it has independent control of the sub through the stereo. As where the CRV deck would only have Treb/Bass/Bal/Fade the Element has Treb/Bass/Sub/Bal/Fade.

I have my Treb set a +5, Bass 0, Sub +5 and it works wonders. If you turn up the bass everything sounds muffled. Turning up just the sub give nice bass where its needed in the very low sounds, while the mid remains crisp. I think putting a Sub into the CRV without changing the stereo would not give favorable results because of this...?

I'm wondering if I can get the Honda element deck into the CRV? Looks like they are both single DIN...but the Element deck appears to be form fitting and unique size. Any idea?
