I was sitting here thinking about my exhaust and how loud and annoying it is, I have the silencer but I hate how they look. Has anyone ever thought about or modified the silencer to be slid further in? Did it change the sound? I know it's a dumb post but hey why not ask about it lol

 

Not sure how it effects the sound but yes people have moved them farther in because they look retarded out at the end like that. Just drill a new hole for the retaining screw a little further in and it should work fine. In reality though, if you want a quiet exhaust that doesnt rob power, get away from that fart cannon and get a proper exhaust made up with good mufflers and resonators. fart cans will always be fart cans, silencer or not...

 

Lol true. I had my silencer bolted in and it rattled so I pushed it all the way in and welded it. I don't plan on keeping this fart can on for long nor do I care much about it. when I decide not to be lazy I will put up the other muffler and maybe I will cut open this fart can to see what's inside
