Icon5 B20 into DC

Looking to take my b20 out of my DA & put it into a DC. I have no knowledge on DC's & i was made aware that I will need a Hydro trans?. Why is that?, is there conversions or would i just end up spending more $ that way instead of just finding a hydraulic trans. I also just realized the DC im getting is a 98 i think, if my motor is a 97 or earlier then im screwed on that part correct?. From all i knew i thought it was just plug & play but i guess not...info much appreciated!

straight swap, make sure all obd2 components are used.

Yes a hydro trans is needed because that is what the dc/db integra's use.
