Rubbing??? 205/50/15?
hello everyone, i have a 1994
Integra RS, and i have just purchased neuspeed sport springs and KYB shocks. they should be here in a day or two.
my question is.... will my tires rub at all in the wheel well? my tires are 205/50/15 - and the drop should be 1.75f and 1.5r.
Thank you in advance for your replies-
Brad

I have slightly different equipment.. but the sizes/drops/diameters are close...
instead of your 205/50/15's on stock GSR rims.. I have 205/45/16's on aftermarket rims w/ a 40mm offset... the overall diameter should be similar...
and instead of your Neuspeed Sport and KYB's I have Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellows which drop about 1.8" or so... so my drop and overall tire diameter are close enough to yours...
during normal driving (w/ 1 or 2 people in the car/front seats) it doesn't rub... however if I do a full lock to lock turn/U-turn (turn the wheel ALL the way to the far left or right)... or take a really sharp turn at high speed... the insides of the wheels kinda rub the inner fenderwell/fender guard....
during normal everyday driving there isn't rubbing though.. just on tight/hard turns and U-turns...

- i dont have GSR wheels (i wish i did! lol) but i have Moda R1's - the guy that i bought it from put them on.
ALSO - when going over speed bumps or driveways - i have an N1 which hangs pretty low- should i take them at a big angle? or a slight angle going expecially slow?? thanks - Brad

So don't worry about tire rubbing with 205/50/15, they will rub even if you use 195/55/15.
195/55/15 would give better road control over 205/50/15. You can feel it during autox. 205/50/15 would give you more grip on dry land, but less on wet/snow. So there is pros and cons on the 2 sizes.

Alright, I have Eibach Sportline Spring 1.7" drop front and rear, Skunk2 camber, runing on stock 15" and stock tires (195/55/R15) Mine rubs sometimes but it scrapes on speed bumps, etc.

no rubbing here, 205/50-15 on stock 15x6 wheels, lowered almost 2" all around. I have autocrossed my car on this setup and did not notice any rubbing then, either.
mine is lowered about 2.5 to 3'' tein susp. and i have 215/35/18's and they only rub under very hard cornering or when my car is full. (the excuse for me not to drive all my friends around when i don't want to). buti do plan to raise it alittle soon when i get my camber kit and do my alignment.
