Driving along the busiest highways in North America this morning, all of a sudden loss of power and dash lights came on ! So I cruised off the highway and onto the onramp to see what was up.
I found a broken msd ignition coil wire ! DAMMIT ! So with no tools on me whatsoever, I managed to stick the wire back in and try to start the car ! Luckily it started !! So I drove off trying to find a mechanic shop nearby all while the engine was misfiring like crazy ! Finally found a shop where they gave me a clip and crimping tool to use so I repaired it. Back to normal !

 

The black wire is on it's way out too.

possibly.. its strong enough for now.

 

how did this disconnect? Was there stress on it or really just aged like that?

 

Seems like spark plug wires were hitting ontop of it for 20 years lol plus heat buildup.
