Default 98 Accord with 60K, Oil in Radiator

Recently bought a 98 Accord with 60k Miles, driving fine no overheating, no mileage drop, nothing. After driving 1000 miles, seen milkshake in the radiator, Oil is leaking in the radiator.

read some forums, sounds like porous engine block. Porous engine block on a 60K miles car? It's an old lady driven car.

Previous owner changed the head gasket before selling the car.

any thoughts, how can 60k driven car has a porous block?

Thanks

The fact that they changed the head gasket should have been a dead giveaway that something was wrong.

Almost makes you wonder if the cooling system wasn't flushed properly after the "replacement"

But let all of the theories and guesses play out

Poorman is right. Compression test. If the numbers check out ok, just need to clean out the system.

98/99 Engines did have a porosity issue. IIRC it is the oil passage for VTEC(non VTEC engines have this passage, it is just plugged on the deck for non VTEC heads) operation has porosity and causes oil to leak into coolant. There was no recall but affected engines were replaced if the problem was identified.

I wouldn't say porous as much as I would just flat say an actual crack in the block. lol
