Default 2nd Gen CRV glove box switch issues and fix

Vehicle: 2002-2006 CR-V

Issue: With the glovebox fully closed the glovebox light is on. This is more noticeable and annoying at night.

Here's how I fixed this problem:

Locate the light switch inside the glovebox. Wet the contact point on the switch with a dab of petrolium jelly. Close the glovebox fully (push in on it). Open the glovebox. Find where the petroleum jelly made contact with the lid. Drill a hole there and insert a screw. I used a 1/8 inch panel screw from a junkyard Honda.
Done.

Sorry for the lack of pics, but this is pretty strait forward. Don't drill a through hole through your glovebox lid. Used a piece of tape and wrap it around your drill bit to set the depth
