Default Help me!

In my 2009 Honda Accord coupe, I moved the switch in my car that says "off" on one side of the switch and "door" on the other and now the lights on the buttons in my car don't light up but they do when I open the door. It also messed up when I lock and open my car with the key fob. I've tried switching it back to "off" but nothing works ! It also doesn't allow my AC to get cold unless the door is open! Any suggestions ?

Where is the switch located? Add more description of switch or post a picture.

Okay, you're probably talking about the spot light switch. Move the switch to the middle and report back what happens.

The switch position and switch should have no effect on your A/C.

Yes it is the spot light switch ! It does effect my ac for some reason because the same thing has happened to me before and I moved the switch and everything started working again. This time it isn't quite doing the trick. There is no way to move it into the middle, it either moves up towards the "off" side or the "door" side. There's no in between.

I was mistaken there was a middle, as I have a 2009 Accord too. It looked that way.

I'll look at the electrical circuit diagrams, to see if there may be something else for you to check.

The issue may be due to the driver's multiplex integrated control unit (MICU) that is part of the driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box. Essentially, you're going to try to reset the MICU.

Disconnect the negative battery cable for several minutes (use a 10mm wrench, etc.). Then reconnect the negative battery cable, you may need enter the radio anti-theft code afterward.
