I now know how dumbed down our society is. I had a Civic 1995. Large back window, easy movable mirrors, could see all of the hood. Drove 46 years with no accidents because I could see every knucklehead around me. Now the Civic builders are more interested in cars that drive FOR you. My 2012 Civic has the manual loaded with "don't sit too close to the airbags". All short people know they will be injured if the airbag goes off in our faces. With six airbags in the car, I can see they think we are shitty drivers. I cannot see the front end of my car. I had to take out all 3 headrests in the back to get more vision in the rear. The mirrors are huge. I'm an excellent parallel-parker, but if I cannot see the passenger front end, it is a challenge not to ding my car. The dash keeps me from seeing the front, because it has to show the temp, radio stations, lights on etc. It blocks my view.
