Default Can I bypass the ac compressor on a 2007 Honda Odyssey?

The clutch stopped working on my ac compressor and I would like to just bypass the entire system. Is there a bypass pulley that is compatible with my vehicle, or is it possible to get a shorter serpentine belt that simply eliminates the pulley altogether?

If the clutch is seized up then yes, I'm sure you could get a shorter belt. May have to get a little creative but it can be done. If the pulley still spins freely there is no reason to bother with it. I would just pull the AC relay to ensure it doesn't engage by mistake. The pulley should offer no more resistance than a basic idler.

Did you ever find out how long of a serpentine belt you used to bypass the compressor? I have the same exact problem but I can't get to the vehicle to measure the path
