so my low oil pressure warning light comes on when i start my car up cold and it flashes 3 times and then goes out. i've read it's normal but idk. it's a 1994 Accord EX. automatic transmission. F22B1 VTEC

 

It should never come on. Check for any dents in the oil pan which could cause oil pressure to drop. Obviously check your oil level. You do not want to risk driving while that that think is flashing. If anything, have it towed to a shop to have them check the actual pressure. It's not common for an oil pump to go out but it's not impossible either.
