So after days and days of searching, I've finally found the code for the 03-07 Accord 5spd tranny (APG6). From what I read the H2U5 tranny in my 90 Accord is hydraulic with cable shifters. What I'm wanting to know is if I wanted to use the 03 Accord tranny in my 90 Accord, will I have to use some type of conversion kit or will I just have to get the original shifter cables for the APG6 tranny? I want to keep my original gearbox. Any info would be great. Or a source where I could get further info. Thanks guys.

 

Before you do anything else, take a long look at the 03-08 transmission and then look at a 90-02 transmission.

 

What mike is saying is they aren't interchangeable.
