front end seems to have been resprayed. i don't see a vin on the driver's side fender and the body lines arent 100%, odds are that's why the lip is missing.

I believe you are correct. After some investigating I found that the holes on the edge of the front bumper have not been drilled yet for the lip, so the bumper is not the original. No biggie, a lip is on the way!
