Where is the ABS computer on 2001 Accord EX?
Anyone know where the ABS Computer is located on the 01 Accord? So far, I'd pulled the driver's kick panel, removed the side pod of the right rear seat, pull back the body trim on the right side in the truck, and still cannot find it. I am trying to pull the connector from the ABS Computer to check for a bad ABS sensor.
I know I have a completely different year Accord EX than you, mine is a 92, but I just posted a picture of the car stripped of its entire interior in this post:

Sorry I called it an LX not an EX like its properly named.
Anyways, the ABS computer was just to the left of the hatch that goes through for the fuel tank wiring harness. It was accessed by lifting up the carpet in the rear cargo area, taking out the plastic storage bin that was running along the rear of the back seat, and then on a bracket connected to the floor in about the middle of the car. I show a good picture and describe its location.
I would be willing to bet that even though our EX's are years apart the ABS computer is in a similar location. Just a guess though, hope it helps!

For a 4 cylinder, the ABS Control Unit is located behind the left kick panel.
For a 6 cylinder, the ABS Control Unit is located behind the right kick panel.

Thanks guys. By kick panel, do you mean by the driver's left footwell? "ced715", I would have guessed it was in the same place as well, tech8 thanks for the clarifcation.
