yeh with hasport cable/hydro kit
its a Y1 cable tranny
i broke 2 trannys and hydro b16 trannys are hard to come by and high as gas
so i got this tranny for 300bucks and i got the kit off thepartstrader for 75bucks and am happy with it am going to buy a s1 cable tranny next
it has the same gearing as a itr tranny from what i hear

i need to find out can i put a 4.9FD in that Y1 tranny

In my old coupe that got stolen I had a cable tranny on it too. I had an S1 tranny and the 1-5 gears are the same as the Type R tranny except for the final drive. Type R has a better final drive. If I was to go B series again on this coupe I would not even even think twice about going cable tranny again. They are so much cheaper in price compared to hydro trannies and you have better choices in gearing.

Actually no, that's not right.

There are 2 Si trannies - USDM LS (shitty) and JDM Integra XS-i.

The one that most people refer to as having "Type R-like" gearing is the JDM version.

While it has the same ratios in gears 1-4 and the exact same 4.400 FD that the USDM and pre-'98 Spec ITR has, the 5th gear is actaully shorter than the ITR 5th - thus higher cruising rpm in 5th gear.

Just a little correction, that's all.

I like the car, except a few things:

1. Shift ****
2. Why isn't your radiator bolted down with the bracket, and why is the overflow tank chillin in front of the headers instead of its correct bracket?

Overall, nice car, looks real good. Do you have any shots of the entire car?
