Automatic Climate Control Panel
2000 Accord EX V6
After connecting a replacement air mix control motor, I activated it by increasing the temperature. It worked for 2 seconds then everything climate controlled shut down. The control panel went blank and nothing worked. Checked fuses, wires, all seem good. Have power to CP but nothing. Could the panel be tested? I saw no internal fuse on the circuit board, but then I am not an electrician.I found another CP on the internet but I am afraid to try it again if the air mix motor causes it to fry. Any ideas? I bought the car with the broken air mix motor. I did not check the motor, the internal gear was broken at the shaft.
