Hey everyone!

As promised, I am starting a thread to follow the progress of my newly purchased 1997 GS-R. I picked it up few weeks ago. Its a one owner all original with 112k miles. The only real issue with the car is that the front fenders were painted, and I just got the rear right quarter repaired because of rust. All in all for 20 years old and being from the north east, I think it could have been much worse.

My plans for the car are to keep the engine 100% OEM and pristine, but slowly prepare the cars handling for some autocross and fun road driving. I plan to do suspension work, tires, sway bar, etc. I plan to post progress of all the work I do, both body, suspension, and engine. Im looking forward to getting input from all of you as well!
