Looking to buy a 91 SI and the guy has a b21a1 motor in it that he tested before he put into the vehicle. This is how he described the problem. My buddy and I think he simply has the wrong starter, does anyone have any input.

"it has a brand new engine in but the started won't engage the torque converter, checked the starter it works fine"
