My wife and I got rearended on the freeway a few nights ago. The damage is extensive and part of it is a sheared-off sway bar bracket mount. Can one get that part separately or does that require replacement of the rear subframe?

 

Got pic's or drawing of said piece? Hard to understand exactly what piece/part you are talking about.

 

I think I answered my own question. The part in question is completely torn off the subframe and it can't be obtained separately.

 

Weld the bracket back in place. or pick up a used sub assembly at your local bone yard, [PicknPull]. 94

 

I think I'm definitely replacing the subframe. I don't feel that I could weld that piece back together, nor do I feel comfortable trying to as the safety of the vehicle and its occupants depends on it. Replacement subframe it is.
