I have a Honda Civic hatch back 2013, 1.8 142cv executive model, where the factory preinstalled reverse camera has come loose, and i would like to get the inside back plastic panel off so that i can get to it, and possibly put it back in its place or fix it if needed.
I scratch my head of how to get to it, but i figure i need to get the plastic bottom part of the inside panel off. I find only two plastic flip covers 2 screws, but thats all i find, is all the rest just clips. I dare not pull to hard, before i know if its safe, so I found this forum, and thought id ask and see if someone has the sollution.
this is the model I have
I thank you in advance
PS yes i have searched, and i find guides for a lot of older models, or even different models to the european version, but nothing on the one i have, even youtube i find nothing...

Hi Stefan
I was just wondering if you found out how to do this. I have a problem with the boot not opening which I believe is due to the switch not operating OR not receiving power but I am un able to get to the switch to test it. Like yourself I eventually found 2 screws in the handle recess but removal has not enabled me to remove the plastic trim. I also removed the screws for the outer skin of the boot and even removed the number plate but was not able to get the outer skin off either again feeling that there was something securing it under the plastic trim.
No, I never did find out, but i asked the mechanic at honda fix it for me when it was in for the last service, so I kinda gave up I guesse.
They didnt charge me more than 20€ to fix it so I was happ+y in the end.
