Should I sell my 95 honda accord EX and if so to who
Hey guys, everyone around me is pressuring me to sell my car and I don't want to but I wanted to ask for a third party opinion. I love the car but everyone tells me that its unreliable and that it will nickel and dime me to death for repair after repair. I'm still unconvinced, but it has drove 318,000 miles on both the engine and transmission, it's easy to fix and parts are cheap as heck to buy but not always findable. It is Stock right now and i'm looking to fix an oil leak and a power steering fluid leak at a shop and want to do the cx axles myself but is it worth it or should I stop investing in it and buy a newer car with fewer miles. It was taken care of very well by the owner who bought the car off the lot and he drove it for about 250,000 miles but the previous owner had it for about 45,000 more miles and did not take as much care for the car until it fell into my hands last year. It has a F22B1 and though all of this it still runs and with no check engine light as of now.
new o2 sensor, harmonic balancer, spark plugs and distributer cap.
I will upload pictures later.

You are going to have to answer this yourself.
If you are paying a shop to fix things along the way, then costs are going to be high - you state a shop is fixing the oil leak and a ps leak.

Choice is up to you, unless you feel the car is a burden, who cares what someone else says. If the major problems have been fixed/done, keep it til the wheels fall off.
FWIW, I have a '95 EX, it is 315Kmiles or so. It has been the easiest, cheapest vehicle I have ever had to own/drive/repair. It's fun to drive and the cost of consumables on the car(tires/brakes/filters) is stupid cheap. I do all my own work so that is also a contributing factor. Timing belt changes for me are ~$150, not ~$1K that a shop charges. Even with the wrong transmission in it, it still gets 29MPG.
The only reason I would opt for a new/newer vehicle would be for increased safety standards in the newer models. I also would probably not purchase anything with drive-by-wire or after '05 model year.
My only complaint of 94-97 Accords is how easy they are to steal. That is really my only complaint.
Honda still sells most parts for this generation, if it is not a Honda specific piece, look to Rockauto.com for better pricing on parts.

Every summer I rent a car from Budget to make a long trip, and also to see what the newer cars are like. I try to rent a different make each time. So far, I have not driven anything I like better than my 94 Accord. They are just transportation, and becoming increasingly generic. There are many "features" on them I do not like, and would not want on a car I drive. And I would never want the "drive by wire" on anything I own. So I replace what goes bad, which is not often, and the majority of moving parts on my 94 are less than 6 years old. It has not cost me nearly the money that car payments would have if I had bought a new, or newer, car. If something should happen to my 94, then I think I would look around for the cleanest 95 Prelude I could find and buy it.
Where's the oil leak? Oil pan gasket is easy to fix, but time consuming with 20 bolts.. you also have to take the exhaust off, Which is probably rusted into one solid piece by now... Then you're set on that leak... If that's the leak...
Idk, I feel the same about my Accord, but it's been such a good car for me for 40-70k miles or something like that...
I've taken care of it. 240k atm.
If you spend 3,000 into it, you could have a brand new engine and tranny and clutch, with other new stuff, and you'd be set for another 300,000........
