Hey guys i was going through my box of parts i got when i purchased the ITR, and noticed i had a J's Racing ETD in there. I mocked it up in my Engine bay and where the directions say (japanese) to install it near the strut tower it looks like the bracket will hit the brake master cylinder. All the googling i have done only shows install pics on RHD cars where the battery tray is mounted on the left side and not the master cylinder. Any of you guys have this installed on a LHD ITR? and can help and clarify with the install?

 

I think i found my own answer if anyone runs into this issue. This particular ETD is only for RHD cars.

 

yup! the spoon and the J's are only for RHD, unless we use a custom bracket

 

Can you bend that shock tower bracket downward, to clear the bmc?

 

The question I have is, is it worth it?

 

A new bracket can be made to clear the BMC, its not a complicated design, but like FlewByU352 said, is it worth it?
