i got a 97 accord lx with the 2.2l sohc I'm in the market for a vtec motor I found a 2.3l dohc vtec h23a that is out of a 2000 accord and was wondering if I could just drop the motor right in or would I have to make any fabrications also what tranny will go best with that motor. I'm new to the Honda scene and this is my first Honda and project car not,really looking to race it but I figured if I got a Honda I need a vtec. My Honda now got a five speed in it will that transmission be fine prob will but still want a better one for better performance any help will be great.
