Default Is there a diagnostic port on a 1993 Integra (OBD1)

Hi all,
I have a 1993 Honda Integra (B18C) which I race in a local series, so this forum has proven great at getting useful info. I recently came across this video where a guy built a digital dash for his old Nissan out of a Raspberry Pi via the Nissan's diagnostic port - his Nissan was pre-odb2 as well.

Build a Digital Dashboard for An Older Car With a Raspberry Pi

This would be a great thing to tinker with, but I don't know if my Honda has a similar diagnostic port, or whether I'm effectively stuck due to pre-odb2.

Any thoughts/idea/advice?

There is but its a proprietary port requiring a H.I.M. and subscription to Honda software. HIM is Honda Interface Module. Not a lot of info is around about the pre OBD2 Honda protocol.

So it's not something that we can easily connect into and grab the outputs. Hmm, any idea what it would take to change the car to OBD2? I assume taking a later OBD2 ECU and just plugging it in isn't exactly going to go well :/

Without a jumper harness it will not even plug in, plugs are different.
There are more then a few DIY OBD swaps here and on line, the best ones are the ones where harnesses are changed so adapters are not needed. 94

The problem with OBD2x ECU's from Honda is they are not flash capable so even Honda Can't reprogram. OBD1 is programmable.

fcm nails the first challenge. There is not a OBD2 standard plug. I believe the HIM plugs into the 3 pin plug and possibly the 2 pin service plug on the passenger side of the OBD1 civics.

I saw someone once posted that they were messing with it but didn't have a whole lot of info.

OBD2 you can do your scanners and display with ease but can't reprogram/tune. OBD1 you can reprogram but not readily scan and display real time.

Being you are doing race, you could run with a complete Engine Management System like Haltech, AEM, etc and then you get both easy scan and display as well as programmability. You might be able to do something similar with Hondata S300 piggybacked to an OBD1 ECU but not sure there, or Neptune's NTP system but once again, not sure.

Here is some additional information about HIM and software that I find on H-T:

Ahhh yes and then my old thread where someone reported the dinkering with the OBD1 port and programming softweare:
