before knowing my 92 civic hatch with the D15Z1 motor was a complete dead end ( engine lower end knocking) I took a chance that it was the timing belt,,, so with that said I ordered the water pump and belt combo kit from rockauto as well as the valve cover gasket kit for the 92 Z1. Now knowing this the new motor I have going into it is a D18Y8 out of a 2000 civic. Going back onto the rockauto website and looking at the same kit for the pump and belt as well as the valve cover kit for the 2000 Y8 the part numbers are only off by one digit,,,actually the last digit. So my question is will the water pump, timing belt along with the valve cover gasket kit capable of working on the Y8 that I purchased for the Z1 or are they completely dead ducks
